Legionella
Legionnaires’ Disease is America’s deadliest waterborne illness. 60% of waterborne diseases each year are caused by Legionella. It is responsible for more deaths in the United States than any other water contaminant.
Legionella often thrive in the water supply of large building cooling towers, municipal water, or in stagnant plumbing systems of shut-down and soon-to-be-reopened buildings, due to COVID-19.
In the USA, drug-resistant “superbugs” sicken 2.8M and kill 35K each year as reported by the CDC in 2019. Globally they cause 700,000 deaths a year. Drug resistance results in “superbugs”. More and more, “superbugs” are being found in water systems of hospitals, nursing homes, schools, office buildings, and hotels.

When the coronavirus pandemic emerged we expanded our focus to air products – mainly masks and air filters. Today, consumer retail face masks and industrial N95 masks work by filtering and collecting pathogenic microorganisms when you breathe in. However, when these traditional masks are removed and thrown away, they remain contaminated and hazardous. All masks that end up in landfills result in serious environmental issues. The real answer to protecting individuals from airborne or droplet pathogenic microorganisms is to kill the germs whenever inhaled or exhaled. We use our technology to design and make new types of face masks and Air filters, ones that is truly a pathogen killer.
